Debosmit is a graduate student in Computer Science at the University of Buffalo. His main area of research lies in the domain of Deep Learning and its applications in Computer Vision and Biomedical engineering. He is an aspiring researcher with publications in the field of computer vision and Human-Computer Interaction. At Roy lab, he is working in the field of Computational Neuroscience, building neural circuit simulations using brain-inspired Spiking Neural Networks. He is always looking to learn and grow in research and collaborate with like-minded individuals.

Educated at the University at Buffalo and Vellore Institute of Technology, his expertise spans machine learning to comprehensive data science, underpinned by a solid command of diverse programming languages. Madhumathan is a postdoctoral researcher with a proven academic background in Microbiology and valuable experience in microbiological and biochemical research. Has acquired diverse professional skills through studying, researching, and working in an academic environment. Presently working under Dr. Dheeraj Roy in the field of neuroscience and behavioral biology.

Mary is an M.S. student studying Biostatistics & Bioinformatics. Received B.S. in Computational Science with a concentration in Computational Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology. Research interests include scRNA-seq data analysis and statistical genetics.

Preyashi Chaudhuri is an undergraduate research assistant. She is studying biology and psychology at the University at Buffalo. She is fascinated by the brains role in behavior and hopes to continue learning more about behavioral neurosciences.

Shaivi Pandey is a data scientist currently pursuing a Masters in Professional Sciences in Data Sciences and Applications at the University at Buffalo. Graduating with a Computer Science degree from the Birla Institute of Technology, she has developed a strong foundation in machine learning, data analytics, and software engineering. Her technical expertise includes implementing unsupervised learning models for anomaly detection and optimizing data processing workflows to significantly enhance efficiency and output. Fluent in Python, Scala, and various data-centric technologies, Shaivi's notable projects, such as a high-accuracy entity matching system and a comprehensive sentiment analysis tool, demonstrate her exceptional ability to turn complex data into impactful, strategic insights, positioning her at the forefront of data science innovation.

Sudip is an AI enthusiast and is currently pursuing his MS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo. He graduated from BRAC University, where his research interests were in the field of computer vision. With two years of industry experience as a Database Engineer, Sudip has honed his skills in data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis. He is engaged in using his AI expertise in the lab to understand and decipher the neural changes happening during epilepsy. Sudip’s dedication to blending AI with neuroscience aims to uncover valuable insights and contribute to advancements in the field.
